2011 Tribute to Pickup

It’s the start of a new year, so I wanted to review and do a tribute to 2011. I had a lot of adventures and built a lot of memories that will be with me for the rest of my life. My last night in DC was almost as awesome as I envisioned it; it gave me the sure confidence in knowing where I had come from and where I was headed.

I barely was the same person when I entered the game. Although I still viewed myself as a young buck trying to make his way up the game, in 2011 I could not deny that I was no longer an upstart.

I’m getting ready to pack for a vacation in Africa for a few months, and when I return to the states will likely be moving from DC, to newer horizons. I don’t know where I’ll be taking my journey but wherever it is, I know that I will have no problem continuing with what I started.

I would like to take some time out and review some of the influential things from 2011. I’m making it in list form, since it makes for easier reading.

Top 5 Favorite Memories

I Could Get Used To This Lifestyle...Move Over Hugh Hefner

1. Becoming the Next Hugh Hefner - This one takes the cake, because I finally gathered the courage to try out something I had always thought about, but never had the audacity to attempt. I completely pushed myself out of my comfort zone by planning and hosting a model casting call, after reading about another person’s adventures in pulling it off. Once I tried and tasted the lifestyle of Hugh Hefner, I decided to pursue it with vigor.

“They sayin’ the sky is the limit. How bitch? I’m moon-walking!” – Big Sean

2. Swimsuit Models and Reality TV  This was my 5th and last casting call and photo shoot for the year. I loved the way things culminated, with everything I had learned from the previous 4 coming together well. I continued pushing myself out of my comfort zone by recruiting swimsuit models, and even dabbled in porn, but that wasn’t as successful. I ended the year having a blast, and was offered an opportunity to appear on a reality TV show on behalf of the fashion magazine I started.

Hacking Online Game

3. Pulling My Dick Out in the Backseat – This was my first date from an online dating site using the online dating hack I had religiously worked on. It was also my first time trying out my new found rational self-interest and objectivist philosophy. I learned a lot in applying the philosophy and its strengths in keeping me grounded.

Accidently Sat in Paint Before Chasing Down Asian Girl lolz

4. What Would Superman Do? -  This was the time I pushed through my limiting beliefs and doubt from doing direct day game solo dolo. Thanks in part to watching the DJ Fuji 21 Convention Talk the day prior, for an entire day, I tasted what it was like to go direct on every hot girl I saw that day, without hesitation or needing a wing to push me.

Grand Central is the Spot

5. Push It to the Next Level -  Blue and I decided we were tired of not pushing ourselves when gaming. We decided to hold each other accountable and in the process, pushed our beliefs of what was possible from day and night game to a whole new level.

    5 Wings I’m Grateful For

    Mr. Hurgle's Small Penis
    1. Mr. HurgleYou’re wacky, crazy, kinda weird and most of the other wings on this list hated you. But I could care less, you were my main wing in 2011. My wings didn’t see your value, but I did. You were a fuckin’ master at breaking rapport, just like your role model Russel Brand!

You just lacked comfort, social calibration and intuition.  I helped you become more calibrated, and you in turn helped me work on breaking rapport and unstifling my self-expression. No matter how good or bad we would do during day game, one thing I can always say was that prowling the streets with you was always a lot of fun. By the end of the year we had built up so much chemistry and comfort, that we even attempted doing some gang bang pornos together with the models we were recruiting. I’ll end it by saying, I hope you get herpes on your vacation in Mexico you motherfucker, pun intended. How’s that for breaking rapport…looks like I’ll have to rebuild the comfort next time we see each other.

    Daring Dave. Professional Approach Machine.

    2. Dave You were fuckin’ professional in 2011! I'm talking 1000 piece suit professional. You were the most consistent approach machine out of all my wings. I don’t think there ever was a day we went out and you had approach anxiety. While I would go through my ups and downs, you were like a steady wave always consistent. In 2011 I watched you grow and evolve from a reserved talker, to a smooth-rooftop-makeout-pulling talker in the span of a year. I have no doubt that out of the people I was winging with last year; you had the best drive and self-motivation to become great. I’ll see you again when we’re both pimps. I’m not a psychic or a mystic, but I think in the future we shall reconvene on a rooftop and philosophize about Ayn Rand and Ron Paul, surrounded with hot blonde cougars and Asian models. I’ll see you then.

    Partners in Crime

    3. Prince P Great minds think alike! Out of all my wings, you were the only one who fully understood the tenet of “Perception is Reality”. And boy did we have a lot of fun in bending perception to create our own reality. Our mutual belief in rational self-interest took us to new bounds. From organizing a meetup group together and teaming up in starting a fashion magazine, very few people in pickup can say they were creating a perception, reality or lifestyle like ours.

You and your mutual belief in rational self-interest were my back support in helping me pursue the model casting calls. Where others bowed out due to fear or moral beliefs, you were the one who stood there with me and said let’s fuckin’ do this! Although I’ve left DC, I know we’ve left each other on good footing in building a lifestyle similar to Hugh Hefner, and will continue to do so. I have been working on some new shit that will take our fashion game to a whole new level. Get in touch with me when you read this and we’ll take about it.

    BBC Crew Broadcasting Live!

    4. John Panam -  I've known you for some time, but you just recently turned 21 late in the year, so that’s when our awesome adventures really started. Having another fellow Black guy, who brought that Black guy vibe when out infield was dope, and was something I missed. You understood the lingo, the swag, dat BBC right dere! Hanging out with you at the Asian happy hour pouching on Asian bunnies while Asian dudes were mean muggin’ was a memory to remember. That Ninja Kawasaki motor bike you got is steaming with swag. You definitely can use it to pull in some BBC bunnies. I'll see you when I see you, and you best believe I’ll be Broadcasting Live!

Knee Deep in the Fashion Game

    5. Lifestyle Game  -  Coming in a tie is lifestyle game; this had a huge influence on me in 2011. Fashion opened up new possibilities and the rest is history. In terms of lifestyle, I found an identity that I was congruent with, and had the type of women I wanted to meet, beautiful and feminine. The magazine was like fishing with dynamite, when I met these type of women. I later added on a modeling agency, which was a form of me, just show boating in the endzone. Add on the social group we started, and meeting, talking and inviting girls out became less work.

    Portable Wingman

    5. Gum Camera The gum camera was the portable wingman. Whenever I was out, I would press the record button and two things would happen. Either I would look like a pussy on camera, or I would look legendary! A basic simple fight or flight response. Having the spy camera motivated me to approach more consistently, and that’s not even mentioning the vital feedback to my game I received from going over the videos after the approach.

This post is becoming long, so I’ll wrap up the other influences on me in 2011 succinctly.
