Snoopervising the New House

Today, mom drove me to go check out a family house that is being built here in Edmonton. It is 99% completed. My duty is to check it out and make sure everything is in good working condition. Sure, I can do that.

This house was built from scratch as instructed by family using only the highest quality materials including marble flooring and lights that cost a human arm and leg. They did not skimp out at all, but then why does mom skimp out on treats for me??? She needs to get her priorities STRAIGHT.

Let me take you on a short tour of this house.

This is the main floor living room area.

It is too bad that mom didn't get a picture of the cool modern fireplace. Like I said, priorities.

This is the kitchen. I wish I could show you all the cool mechanisms in here, but I do not have hands like the humans and I'm pretty short.

This is the dining room area.

A peep of the upstairs. See that Eiffel Tower?

Um, yeah... (mom's idea)...

One of the money-wasting lights that could have bought me good food for at least a year.

The "world" looks so small next to me and I'm only 5 lbs! Mom tried to be all smart and explain it to me. I didn't really listen, but she said something about small dog breeds.

One of these things does not belong.

I won't bother with the rest of the house because it might take forever. Let's just skip to my favorite part...

The deck (not shown) and yard!

I LOVE a nice romp in a fully enclosed backyard.

(Yes, the grass is in very poor condition. This is what happens when it doesn't get enough water and no one has time to drop by to feed it water!)

The rocks aren't so nice to walk on for my tiny paws though.

I need to take a nice long rest after expending so much energy. Let me recharge.

Love,
Jemma
