Mr. Rabbit

This is the little rabbit that mom is determined to catch. She has a friend that works in the small animals department at the local shelter and with his help, they are trying to trap Mr. Rabbit so that he can be neutered. The goal is to eventually find him a nice warm forever home.



Rabbits are harder to catch than cats for the most part, mom says. They run too fast and have extremely strong kicks. Two weeks ago, another guy from a rabbit rescue actually caught him in his arms, but with a winter jacket on and some crazy kicking, it was very slippery. Mr. Rabbit escaped again. The trap went out this afternoon.



We wonders...how come mom doesn't use that precise time instead to pay more attention to us? We promise we won't run away from her AND she won't need a trap to get us.
